Black Beauty is a classic printed in many different editions. The one I read is different to the one I own now and is displayed. The copy of Black Beauty I read is very battered and is now in the posseson of my younger sister. The copy I own was given to me buy my God mother which also bought me the DVD for my 13th birthday. Black Beauty was an interesting book to read as it was in the point of a horse. Never read anything like it or doubt I will, unless Shy Boy by Monty Roberts is in the point of a horse. This novel shows the path a horse may take. It shows all the uncertaintaries of being bought. "A horse never knows who may ride or drive him..."
